Research Department
This is divided into 3 subdivisions namely;
a) Health Research Division:
•
Follow up health phenomena and suggest, design, and publish
health studies.
•
Recommend and share in designing health-related surveys in
collaboration with other relevant bodies.
•
Cooperate with inside and outside MOH organizations in
designing and implementing research studies.
•
Share in WHS, GBD and other national health projects.
b) ICD10 Division:
Currently this
division is providing help in checking HS11 forms .
However, in the
future plan we will extend its activity to cover mortality
and birth data.
c) Training and
external relations & Information Division:
•
Putting
programs for training in ICD10/ ICPM coding, birth,
stillbirth and death notifications for physicians, nurses
and health technicians.
•
Distribution of relevant pamphlets and leaflets coming from
other departments.
•
Distribution of announcements for relevant scientific
meetings and conferences inside and outside Kuwait.
